​Drorit is a mathematics, physics and computer science teacher. As a former software engineer, she is a strong leader in online learning and an advocate of innovative technology use in the classroom. Drorit has received much media attention for her creative Math/Science raps that can be seen on her YouTube channel, Slice of Weiss. Since the release of her videos, Drorit has been invited to speak at conferences, panels, and has been serving the community as an educational role model for women in STEM.

Drorit believes that deep learning requires the engagement of creativity. She loves connecting and integrating knowledge in holistic and multi-disciplinary capacities. As a passionate and enthusiastic learner herself, Drorit loves sharing that passion with her students.

She is currently the Ontario coordinator  for the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing award.
