Galina has been teaching high school students in Canada for almost 20 years at all levels: from Applied to Academic and Enriched math courses as well as the AP Calculus course. She also has ten years of experience teaching first year university students in Moscow, Russia.
Galina believes in her students and knows that they can succeed in mathematics.
Her strong practical and theoretical background in Math and Physics and extensive experience in teaching mathematics at all levels of high school help her to meet the needs of each student.
Galina works by developing and selecting the appropriate teaching style, and by being tolerant, patient, and sensitive to students. She believes in the effectiveness of teaching in small groups or on one-to-one basis. Her extensive teaching experience has shown her that individual instructional time helps to diagnose and close any gaps in prior knowledge, to increase the student's learning potential and consequently - their academic achievement.
Many of Galina's graduates return to tell her that thanks to her guidance, they had been prepared at such a high level that they felt confident in their first year mathematics courses at university.

Галина верит, что все студенты могут освоить математику. Ее фундаментальные знания математики и физики и большой опыт преподавания математики помогают найти индивидуальный подход к каждому студенту. Она использует различные методики обучения и всегда очень внимательна и терпелива к каждому студенту. Она верит в эффективность обучения в маленьких группах или на индивидуальной основе. Ее богатый опыт преподавания показывает, что дополнительные индивидуальные занятия помогают раскрыть потенциал студента, улучшить понимание предмета и, как результат, повысить академические оценки в школе.
