Master Tutor: Mathematics

Jordan believes teachers can have a profound impact on students not just academically but on a personal level. As a student, he was fortunate enough to encounter many excellent teachers who inspired him to challenge and improve himself. This is why he decided to pursue a career in education: to give students the confidence to succeed. Learning a new mathematical concept can often be intimidating, but if it is approached with confidence then nothing is insurmountable.
Jordan strives to impart this confidence in his students so that they can realize their own potential.
Jordan has been teaching and tutoring high school and post-secondary students for over 15 years and has had the pleasure of working with thousands of students in both the classroom, in small groups, and one-on-one.
Jordan has a Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the University of Calgary, a Master of Mathematics degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, and a Ph.D in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
